# Standup

> Quick summary for daily standups

The Standup report provides a condensed view of recent activity, designed for daily standup meetings.

## Who can see it?

* **Admin** and **Manager** roles can see standups for any team
* **Team lead** role can see standups for their teams
* **Member** role cannot access standup reports

## Default time range

Unlike other reports, the Standup report defaults to **this week** to show the most recent activity.

## What's included

* **Recent PRs** — Pull requests opened and merged this week
* **Recent reviews** — Code reviews given
* **Tasks completed** — Issues closed this week
* **Activity timeline** — Day-by-day breakdown

## Standup notes

When you filter the report to a single engineer, Weave generates **standup notes** for a specific workday. Notes are AI-generated bullet points summarizing what shipped, work in progress, reviews, collaboration, and blockers from:

* Pull requests and code reviews
* Commits
* Slack messages
* Agentic tool sessions
* Project management tasks and comments
* Meetings

By default, notes cover the most recent weekday before today in your organization's timezone (Monday maps to Friday; weekends map to Friday). When the date filter is a single day — for example, the **Today** or **Yesterday** presets — notes generate for that selected day instead. Select an engineer from the filter bar to load their notes. Results are cached so repeat views load quickly.

## Using in standups

The Standup report is designed to answer:

* What did the team accomplish yesterday?
* What's in progress today?
* Are there any blockers?
