What’s tracked
- Usage activity — daily active users and usage patterns
- Code generation — AI-assisted code and lines generated
- Agent activity — Auggie interactive and automation usage
- Cost tracking — Augment spend per engineer
Prerequisites
- An Augment Enterprise plan with the Analytics API (preview)
- An Augment Analytics API key / service-account token
- Admin access to your Weave organization
Setup
1
Create an Augment Analytics API key
In your Augment Enterprise admin settings, create an Analytics API key (service-account token).
2
Add the key to Weave
Go to Data → Augment → Configure, find the Configure Augment Code card, and click Add an API key. Weave stores it securely (only a hash is shown) and begins syncing daily usage. (The same card’s settings menu also offers an Upload CSV option if you’d rather import a usage export.)
3
Verify connection
Check that Augment activity appears in Weave after the first daily sync.
Augment usage data is available at roughly 02:00 UTC the day after activity, so expect a one-day lag on the most recent day.
Metrics enabled
Once connected, you can track:- AI code LOC — Lines generated by Augment
- AI output percentage — Portion of output from Augment
- AI efficiency index — Impact on productivity
- AI tool costs — seat-based Augment cost
Cost tracking
Weave ingests Augment usage metrics (active users, code generation, model distribution) but not per-operation cost, so Augment cost is seat-based. Enter your Augment subscription in Settings → Financial → Tool subscription costs (seats × cost per user) and assign the members it covers, and Weave splits that flat cost across them.Data privacy
Weave syncs aggregate usage metrics from Augment:- Daily active users and usage counts
- Lines of code generated
- Model distribution
- Source code content or diffs
- Augment’s responses
- File paths or project structure
