How it works

Measures the gap between when work was due and when it was completed. By default, weekends are excluded from this gap. To count every calendar day, turn on Hardcore mode under Settings → General → Time calculation.
  • Negative = finished early
  • Zero = on time
  • Positive = delivered late
Only includes tasks with both a due date and completion date. Due dates without a time are measured from midnight UTC at the start of that day, so a task completed on its due date shows a small positive value.

Use case

This metric reflects estimation accuracy more than individual performance. Consistently late delivery suggests scope is being underestimated or due dates are unrealistic. Consistently early by large margins may indicate conservative estimates.
